Jiminy Cricket

Jiminy Cricket is a safe and gentle horse suitable for riders of any level. He stands tied for hours and loads easily into trailers. He also behaves well during baths and clipping. He is not easily spooked and responds well to direction while riding.

His pace is more relaxed than energetic and he has experience as a trail and ranch horse. If you are looking for a horse to perform intricate maneuvers and lope in circles, then he may not be the right fit for you. However, he is a reliable and trustworthy companion on the trails, able to walk, trot, and lope with ease. He is well-trained in neck reining, stopping, and turning, and can be ridden with a loose rein.

Jiminy can be ridden alone or in a group without becoming dependent on other horses, and he does not exhibit unwanted behaviors such as bucking or buddy sourness. He has a pleasant personality and excellent ground manners, and he gets along well with other horses. He is experienced in ranch work such as branding and herding, and he is sure-footed and confident in various terrains.

At 14 years old and 15 hands high, he is a well-rounded and easy-to-ride gelding. Despite challenging weather conditions during the video, Jiminy handled it with ease, showcasing his patience and adaptability.
